Drone real estate photography in Harrisburg and the Poconos

For listing agents and brokerages who want the lot, the setting, and the roofline in the first ten photos, delivered MLS-ready within 48 hours.

What this is

The frames that sell a listing are shot from 50 to 80 feet, not 400, where the house is still a house and the lot lines, the yard, the water, or the woods read at a glance. Every listing gets the same shot list: an elevated front, a straight-down frame that shows the parcel, the rear and the yard, and one high frame that places the property in its town.

Everything is delivered the way Bright MLS wants it: unbranded, no watermarks, in MLS and print sizes, with the signed copyright release the MLS requires. One thing to plan for: Bright requires the first photo to be an unbranded curbside exterior, so the aerial frames lead from the second slot, not the first.

If a ground photographer is already booked, I work around them. Aerials happen in the first or last hour of the day when the light is low and the shadows are long; interiors take the middle. You get one delivery, not two.

What you get

  • 01Aerial stills12 to 15 edited frames from several altitudes and all four sides, MLS-sized and full resolution, unbranded.
  • 02Flyover videoA 60 to 90 second aerial video cut to music, plus one vertical cut for Reels, Marketplace, and TikTok.
  • 03TwilightA dusk session with the house lit, as an add-on. It is the frame that stops the scroll.
  • 04Copyright releaseSigned for every listing, so the brokerage can submit to Bright MLS or the Pocono MLS without a follow-up.

Questions

Can a drone shot be the main listing photo?
Not on Bright MLS. Their image policy requires the first photo to be an unbranded curbside view of the exterior. The aerial frames go second and onward, which is where buyers see them anyway.
Are the photos MLS-ready?
Yes. No watermarks, no branding, sized for the MLS and delivered at full resolution for print. The signed copyright release Bright requires comes with every delivery. Photo count limits vary by MLS, so confirm yours with the listing agent.
What if the weather turns?
Rain, fog, or wind over about 20 mph and I reschedule at no charge, usually within two business days, so the listing still goes live on time.
Do you need the neighbors' permission?
No. Airspace is federal and Pennsylvania law keeps it that way. I still knock or leave a note when a flight path crosses a neighbor's yard, because a friendly heads-up beats a complaint. HOA common areas sometimes need written permission, which the agent usually has.
The house is near the airport. Can you still fly?
Almost always. Harrisburg International and Capital City are both on the FAA's LAANC system, so I get authorization in minutes for the allowed altitude on that grid. A few grids right off the runway ends are zero-altitude, and I will tell you before you book.
Who owns the photos?
You get a written license to use them however you like, for as long as you like. I keep the copyright, as every photographer does, and I sign the MLS release so that never gets in the way of a listing.
